Microsoft CustomerSource has moved
In case you missed it! We are sharing this blog by way of a reminder for those in the know and highlighting to those who may have missed previous CustomerSource Update Announcements from Microsoft !
Since February 2021, Microsoft has now retired CustomerSource and have moved the information to docs.microsoft.com
What was Microsoft CustomerSource?
Microsoft CustomerSource has been the go-to portal for all things related to their Microsoft Dynamics software. Clients accessed the CustomerSource Portal to download software updates and hotfixes, submit support cases to Microsoft directly, and is a great resource in which to search for product news and knowledge base articles – CustomerSource has undergone a revamp and has now moved to a new location!
Where do you go now for Information?
Microsoft CustomerSource website held a wealth of documentation and Microsoft account information for users to access. Although the old site is retired, Microsoft has provided an even simpler place to go for information. Microsoft has moved much of their product content to a new portal @ docs.microsoft.com to help make it easier for clients to find and access the information for Microsoft Dynamics products.
Note: You will still be required to login to download products and service packs and hotfixes. Your credentials that were used to login to CustomerSource have been migrated to the new platform.
Product content has been moved to docs.microcsoft.com. This is a well-organised and user-friendly site where you can find everything you need to know about Dynamics products – from version information and What’s New Guides to module information, system requirements for every supported version of the software, and links to product blogs and resources for the latest information. This move provides a greatly improved user experience than the previous CustomerSource site.
While it is easy to navigate and search for information on any Microsoft product, some of the key Microsoft Dynamics product information and documentation can be accessed as follows:
